I started playing soccer at the age of 4 in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I was born, until I moved with my family to San Antonio when I was 9. I started playing competitive club soccer here in San Antonio with the Supras for two years, before they merged with Lions FC where I also played for another two years. All four years of High School I played my club soccer at Classics Elite where I was part of the USSF Development Academy program. There, I was fortunate enough to travel all across the country to play against the best teams/players in the country including many MLS youth academy teams such as FC Dallas, Houston Dynamo, Colorado Rapids, Chicago Fire, and Columbus Crew. I also played four years of High School Varsity soccer. My first as a freshman at Reagan, and then three more years at Johnson where I served as captain my senior year and was also the 2011 recipient of the Ian’s Cup Sportsmanship Award. I then went on to play four years of college soccer at Luther College, which is a division 3 school located in Decorah, Iowa. While I was there, we won two Conference Championships, as well as made it to the National College Tournament twice, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2011. I also served as captain of the team my Junior and Senior years.
